The Institute for Advancing Prosperity's mission is to research, inform, and engage established business leaders, entrepreneurs, technology researchers, policy makers, and the general public to ensure that Canadians are taking advantage of the opportunities afforded to them by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
We envision a Canada that is a global leader in the development and dissemination of innovative technology, one that capitalises on our already significant research capabilities, and does so in a way that brings about widespread prosperity for all.
Our commitment is to the values of an open and innovative Canada, respect for the rule of law, and the desire to continuously expand opportunity for all Canadians. We believe the best policy recommendations arise from active engagement with key stakeholders and the public at large. By engaging and educating those affected by technological change, we aim to encourage a greater diversity of voices in the shaping of Canada's future. In order to accomplish this our policy reports are supplemented with regular events on key technology issues, as well as with workshops targeted at students and business leaders to increase their technical competence and engagement with innovation.
Our newsletters keep you up to date with our latest activities, upcoming events, and the important news regarding science and innovation in Canada.
